How to Join Our Quilt Guild

Visitors:

The Guild policy invites visitors to attend TWO general meetings, after which they are expected to become paying members.

Individual Membership:

Membership is composed of person's interest in quilts and quilting in all forms. We do not discriminate in regard to race, color, creed, gender, age, disability or national origin. Membership is valid upon payment of dues. The dues are $15.00 yearly.

Business memberships are $30.00 yearly.

Nametags:

You will see many different kinds of handmade nametags worn by the members. We encourage you to make one to wear when you become a member. Talk with the members about their nametags, and we can help you if you have not done that before.

**Members will be fined 25 cents if they don't wear their nametags.

Programs:

We offer a variety of programs for the Guild. Examples are: Basics of rotary cutting; Fabric buying; types of threads & needles; Hand Quilting; Machine Quilting; Quick Tips; Shortcuts; Etc.

One highlight at every meeting is the SHOW & TELL segment. People show what they are working on, UFOs (Unfinished Objects), completed work and we all enjoy seeing each other's projects.

All of us learn from each other. We have novices, intermediate and advanced quilters among us. Come and join us as we learn and fellowship together.

Member Benefits:

Paid membership entitles members to receive a Monthly Newsletter that highlights Guild activities, and use of our Library.

Members also receive a Membership Yearbook with the Member information, By-laws and Guild Policies and Membership Card.

Members receive advance notice and reduced fee options for workshops sponsored by the Guild.

AND members have fun getting know other people with similar interest.
